Quitting During Training is like…??? The Intuitive Group Explains
Whether you are starting a new job, a healthier way of life, or trying to learn something new, never allow yourself to quit during the training process. When you are training almost everything you are learning is going to be new and quite possibly difficult to pick up on your first attempt. You must keep in mind that everyone has a different learning curve and life experiences so you cannot judge yourself based on everyone else’s results. When you compare yourself to others around you, you can often discourage yourself. Regardless of what you are training for ALWAYS give yourself the benefit of finishing the training process…most of the time you will surprise yourself on what you are capable of accomplishing.
Once your training is complete and you still find that you doubt your actions and results, re-evaluate your situation. Make sure you are asking yourself: Are you happy? Are you learning? Does your company care about you and its workers? Does the company have a plan and goals for its future? If you answered yes to all these questions you might simply be doubting yourself at the moment, and in this case talk to your co-workers, talk to your boss, talk to your mentors; 99% of the time they will be able to help you and get you pointed in the direction of success.
Going through job training is difficult and can be disheartening at times. You must believe in yourself, the company you decided to work for, and the reasons you initially accepted the position. As we get older things become more difficult. Our first job at the mall or restaurant does not carry the weight of customers and businesses relying on your work. When you are starting a new job or career go into it knowing it might be difficult at first, and should that go with anything new you try.
The training process is a large part of our future, one that life and college does not teach us about. Believe in yourself and go after what you want to accomplish with everything you have. Always keep in mind your goals and inspirations and the training process won’t be as difficult to complete. Whatever you decide to take on in life always allow yourself to make it through training and the newness of everything, you don’t know what doors to success will be open at the end of it!
